Red Hot chili peppers, Sublime, etc. :) this place is a good place to hangout with friends and get loud.. there's 3 bars, lots of games, 2 pool tables, a smoke room, and a big dance floor! It's a little bit of something for everyone!!! if anything, i would attempt to go before 10pm so you don't have to pay at the door.. its $10.00 cover charge.. regardless of being a man or woman.. 5 bucks to valet.. but if you're feeling cheap, there's street parking about 2 blocks away. :)
by Nicholas Bera on If you select carefully through the menu, there are a few things (like crab cakes) that are edible. But the reason to visit Iguana's is not the food; it's the margaritas. They're tasty and cheap. The complimentary chips & salsa are a nice touch. If you live or work in Midtown West/Hell's Kitchen, Iguana's is nice place for a happy hour or Saturday afternoon drinks. The front bar is quite large and I was surprised to find it crowded on a recent rainy Satuday afternoon. Yes, most of the people were tourists, but it was fun to talk to them. Most of us have move to NYC from somewhere else, let's not forget.
