My husband and I have wanted to try Zahav for months. We finally found the perfect excuse over the Passover holiday, as we read in the paper that the chef had prepared a special seven-course Passover meal for roughly $50 per person. We were curious to see what they could do with what we consider "not so great" Passover-related food. Well, the answer is, A LOT. We started with the salatim and hummus (or in this case, homemade matzoh with hummus) and yes the garlicky hummus is as good as everyone says it is. I would come here just for the hummus every single day. Very nice that the meal also comes with about eight different "salads" of different tastes and textures, including eggplant, cauliflower, etc. Delicious. Other items on the tasting menu included a special matzoh ball soup, fried cauliflower (yummmm), coffee-braised brisket with the most delicious roast potatoes I've ever had, and more. I can't even remember everything because by the second course I was already stuffed. Dessert was a chocolate matzoh brei that can only be compared to french toast. Very different, but good. Our server and the entire waitstaff were very attentive. The maitre'd came over to introduce himself and ask what our favorite dishes were. I saw a bus boy offer a pillow for a young child to sit on while he was eating. Very cute. The atmosphere was really cool. I will definitely return to Zahav in the near future.

My company just had their Christmas party there today. (excuse me the mimosas got the best of me and I couldn't finish) 17 of us +Bottomless mimosas equals a good time... So what had happen was and why I am writing this review late is my dog ate my homework? Ok all excuses a side Lime is a great place to have a Christmas party! If you love Britney in the morning, dancing during breakfast and mimosas come to Lime.. Manny was our Event Coordinator, I faxed him 16 menus with 1 menu late and he made it happen. We have a budget and like Tim Gun, he "made it work" The food was not the best I ever had but the atmosphere is really what Lime is about. If you love Sexy in the City and you want to be at a club or lounge for breakfast make reservations or prepare to stand in line for LIME!
