Although, she didn't mention that side items are separate. The spicy tuna rolls were yummy. The rib eye steak was good but a little salty. I would recommend this restaurant. My friend brings his clients here, whenever they are in town. The meat packing district is a nice and trendy area.
by Leif Morford on I stumbled upon this place one Friday night, after the Marina district had sufficiently made me feel inadequate and under-dressed. Talk about going from one extreme to another. One thought came to mind when I stepped into Vertigo: people who frequent this place either rarely take a shower or they undergo a full body scrub after a night here. The room was humid & musty (crack a window open please?); it smelled like puke; the men's bathroom was reportedly filthy; I couldn't bring myself to touch anything. The main plus is: if you want to grab a drink, but don't want to change out of your faded t-shirt, ripped jeans, and beach sandals, Vertigo won't judge you! There are two other ways of looking at it though: 1) people were having too much fun to care, 2) I needed a couple more drinks to take that stick out of my ass. Also, I should seriously consider stop trying to force myself to like dive bars.
