by NiKKi N. on Mass confusion. We made reservations for dinner at 8:30 pm because we were watching Jon B. at 10:30. Sounds simple right? We called the restaurant because we were running late and they had no problem accommodating. We arrive then the host told us to go to the box office to get our tickets then come back. I didn't think we needed our tickets since our seats were reserved. We receive $40 credit which is good at the restarant or at the jazz club. He told us to give the credit immediately to our waiter, then she tells to hold onto it until we pay the bill? WTH? Dinner was pretty uneventful, our table was so long and it was so loud, I couldn't hear my bf talk. The waitresses trying to rush us but not. The jazz venue was ok and the sound wasn't the great. I like Oakland better because it is smaller and intimate. Skip the dinner and use your credit at the jazz club.
