by Angela L. on No cover, classy, and always a good time. I knew Bubble Lounge was a real winner after the Real Housewives of Orange County visited. Now that I am in my (gasp, eep!) near to mid-twenties, I don't feel like going out and getting blasted (except in Vegas) anymore. Here is where Bubble Lounge comes into play. I love the atmosphere and I love that I can just hang out and have a good conversation with the people I'm with. And I suppose for you wild animals out there, the downstairs does have a dance floor, so if your party wants to get down after a few drinks, they can do that too. To be honest, it's not my first choice to have a mellow catch up night (District), but it really does the drink. I know I'll be back here.
by Craig Alcombright on 5 stars by default (it's the only afterhours club in Boston). If you want to keep partying after 2am Rise is your only choice. Opened Friday and Saturday nights every week and sometime Sundays, Rise does not disappoint with banging house beats provided by big name DJs on the main dancefloor (basically just a long dark hall with BIG speakers and mirrors on all the walls) and chiller house with top locals downstairs in the lounge (nice couches). The crowd is a mix of gay and straight party goers and there's no alcohol so I always end up drinking enough Red Bull to make my head explode. Rise is members (and guests of members) only so meet someone who's a member if you want to go.
