The decor- definitely makes the bar unique- its awesome and I don't even like gold! The location is perfect- Little Italy area. I've heard this place is selective, so beware. But once you get inside its really nice venue/bar to host a party
by Erin C. on I recently had a birthday dinner party there for approximately 20 people. The night started out badly because someone put my reservation down as 15 people instead of 20. The hostess was a bit rude about what to do, and they said that they would push in another table as soon as the party next to us left. The service was excellent, and most of the food was quite tasty. This is a great spot for large parties. It's not as loud as Eclipse di Luna (another tapas joint), and your guests have the option of going over to the dance floor where there is a live band playing. DO try the Mango Mojito and the paella. Delicous stuff! A warning about the paella though--it takes about 40 minutes to come out. Their 'pez con risotto' wasn't good. The fish tasted bland, and the black risotto did not look appetizing at all.
