by Preston Boero on We came here for happy hour on a Saturday night after seeing the sign outside. $6 cocktails and $5 glasses of champagne on the weekend? It didn't take much convincing. The place is also beeeautifully decorated, very 1930s-inspired and they play cool music, no techno, hip-hop crap.
by Loyd Guberman on I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The owner is a JERK. A bartender was serving a friend and I one night and we ordered a shot of the Patron Coffee. I'd never had it, so I asked for it to be served in a rocks glass because I didn't want to shoot it. The bartender didn't understand what I was saying and gave it to us in a shot glass. Whatever; my friend and I sipped on it for awhile. About half way through, the owner comes over out of nowhere and says that he saw us drink it all and since the glass wasn't empty he accused us of reaching OVER the bar and stealing another shot. It was absolutely ludicrous. After that, he wouldn't serve us! Now, if he had seen us do it... ok. If the people next to us had seen us do it, ok. But none of that was the case because we DIDN'T do it. Unbelievable. What a loser! Also the DJ sucks.
