Great place to watch the celtics games. Place gets crowded especially during the playoffs. I have been able to enjoy myself while I watch the games. However I don't love the club aspect of this place, dance floor is too small to move around on and not a lot of dancing room. If you want to go here to watch the celtics games I recommend it.

Lots of the basics have been covered at least three times here, but for me, as someone who used to live in this neighborhood, I'm happy to see 'em there. The old Mexican joint that used to occupy this space was borderline depressing, and what's replaced it isn't flawless but is definitely an upscale improvement. If only one restaurant can be there at a time, better that it's this one, I'm just saying. I do think that given the less typical dynamic presented by the upscale-ish sports bar throws some people off: sometimes we only know what we know, but I do like the idea of subverting the obvious in favor of trying something different, and it's safe to say that to that end Cover 3 delivered. Bonus points for running into someone there that I'd apparently met fifteen years ago and re-meeting him for the first time. Seriously. It's a weird world we live in some days.

I'm seduced by nostalgia. Any place with a history as long as Ear Inn's is gonna be an instant favorite of mine. I could bypass the hoards of bankers who hang out here after work, but who am I to judge. Friendly staff, cheap drinks, some outdoor seating - a trusted spot in that neighborhood.
