by Shawnee Pawelek on came here once, long ago. must say it's an interesting concept?? this whole 'greenhouse' thing? then again, it's probably the only the that sets this club apart from other douche-bag-exclusive-velvet-rope type places. i was with a hot, blonde-model type chick. tons of people lining up and then flashing money inside, but of course there's all these 'promoters' with free bottle service and chicks that drink off of them (i was one of those chicks!). fun to experience ... once. not my scene but glad i got to witness!
by Lashaun Lyttle on I'm a fan of Golden Temple for a couple of reasons: 1) Food 2) Cocktails 3) Portion Size. Let's start with portion size...Golden Temple serves HUGE portions. There you have it. It's not a secret. Go with a group or plan to take home left overs. Moving on to cocktails -- Golden Temple makes a deceptive mai tai. It isn't overly sweet and doesn't have that yucky too much alcohol taste, but it packs a punch. Since they have a full bar you can pretty much ask for anything and they will accommodate. They do have a huge drink list including all sorts of fruity drinks if you are in to that and wine of course. I go with the mai tai and leave feeling happy. The bar itself is standard -- maybe 15 or 20 seats, but there is an area that has all these tables near by that is also part of the bar and at night the tables go away and it becomes a mini-club. The food at Golden Temple is good. Get the spicy hot string beans which is stir-fried with pork in a saucy hot and spicy sauce. The beans are tender crisp and the sauce is pretty spicy. Get the crispy orange beef and be happy with tender cuts of beef with a sweet-spicy orange sauce. Get the special lo mein with chicken, beef and pork and get the golden temple fantasy (ask for it spicy) and you will be so very happy. Lobster, shrimp and beef oh my!!

But if you can misplace your judgement before entering this qanat-like space, you are guaranteed to have a great time.
