This is one overrated and price-bubbled night club located in Koreatown. This place is over-priced and its employees are spoiled by the unusually high demand caused by the 2 major contributors: 1)spoiled Korean International "students" with xenophobia who are experiencing real "America" with the money their middle-class South Korean mommies papas deposited into their bank accounts 2) 2nd generation "Korean"-"American" youth with a high level of identity-crisis who are too "CoOl" to be "white-washed" or "fobbed-out" with their church-going fashion and military hair cuts. -All in an intention to help out the night industry of the area and hopefully this can enrich the Los Angeles Korean American community -?- In my last visit to this place, I saw a fist "fighting." between two young Korean males inside the club. Korean on Korean. Not a surprise. I am not suggesting an interracial hatred and violence but I don't understand why these "tough guys" aren't going to some of the "tougher" neighborhoods such as South or East LA to pick up a straightforward street fight instead of picking bravely on another Korean dude in the middle of Koreatown which was built on drops of blood and sweats of our pioneer Korean American ancestors. I would try out for the UFC or KOTC if I was that confident in fighting. Moving from one point to another within this club gives you a football practice. It seems guys here enjoy hitting other guys' shoulders with their own shoulders. Maybe they enjoy male-to-male body contacts. These "tough guys" also are into exchanging eye contact between males. No wonder the last California Proposition 8 faced major opposition. In speaking of girls: The average girls that come here in all honesty look pretty decent. Some of them look hot. However, gentlemen like me aren't into airheaded females. Everyone knows that girls enter here with the cheap promotions in exchange for the bookings. How come almost every girl found here acts like she hates booking?? come on, learn capitalism! Korean girls that come here think that every guy will like them and maintain this 'mad face' facial expression. First, I thought they wanted to use the restroom so bad. Night clubs in my opinion suppose to be a happy place where people meet, socialize, drink, dance, have fun and smile. Isn't it? However, this is not the story for the girls of Le Cercle. It seems like they come to this club to discover their 'self-identity' by testing themselves how their sexual attractiveness is "competitive." They probably are spoiled by male loosers who buy them drinks and chase after girls thus there's no reason to hate on those ladies. Rarely, some girls do hit on guy(s), I happen to be the target but it's pretty usual for me so I care less. If the pioneer Korean Americans who acrossed the Pacific and dropped tears, sweats, and blood to build Los Angeles Koreatown wake up from the grave and look at this hellhall, they would cry enough to fill the LA river. At least I had important lessons from the horrible experience with Le Cercle.

I'm seduced by nostalgia. Any place with a history as long as Ear Inn's is gonna be an instant favorite of mine. I could bypass the hoards of bankers who hang out here after work, but who am I to judge. Friendly staff, cheap drinks, some outdoor seating - a trusted spot in that neighborhood.
