by Stephanie U. on Celebrated my Grad Party at The Kress. Waitress Brenda was so nice. The food looked yummy in their website but in reality their food didn't quite tickle my fancy. Had to wait so long to get the bill. I've experienced better Asian Fusion Restuarants.
by Otis Strollo on So far the best venue I've ever been to in CA. It's huge and spectacular lol...it reminds me of Vegas (I think next comes Temple in SF, but that place can get stuffy). I love all the dramatic lights, the grandiose rooms, extravagant tables (when they're not blocked off and listed as "vip"-who does that), annnd I'm running out of adjectives. No, I love the decor and how there's so much space, though with any happenin' club, it gets packed hella quickly. Just by looking at the pictures you can be mesmerized...and yes, it actually does look like the pictures (unlike many other venues). I know there's a ton of comments as to how people are treated, charged, forced to wait in line, etc on here that determines whether they like the place or not, but it really depends on who's promoting that night, when you arrive, what hookups you have/don't, etc. So go research who's throwing the party there when you go and go directly with them. It's all based on preferences so I'm not even going to bother mentioning who I went through that night (especially since that promoter group is mediocre haha). Oh and, careful with parking. My homegirl got a $50 ticket. I don't have recommendations on where to park, I've only been here once and it was awhiles ago. But we got there early, talked to the promoters, and got in just fine. So don't be shy, work it and initiate! :P
