So I've been to the nightclub part, so here it goes.... We went here for my friends birthday bash, where he planned to have bottle service galore.... Get to the front of the club and we got to go to a VIP line....pretty cool seeing that there were tons on people trying to get in...and recited our names to the girl who brought us down into the club....we got a private room set up with a table full of glasses, ice, and everything nice for all of our alcoholic needs..... The club itself is very nice, not super upper scale, but tasteful for that "club vibe"..... The club is really crowded, but the music is good, and the go-go dancers put on a good show....co-ed bathroom also add to the ambience.... Stayed till about 2 am, and had enough....maybe getting too old for this, haha....but I enjoyed myself.....got a great buzz, danced for a bit...and came out a happy camper....if I were single, I would probably frequent this place more often, since I work basically a few blocks from here.... a 4 out 5

Across the street from Opera, around the corner from Cosmo/Lava and Leopoard Lounge, Sutra is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta. The crowd is not as flashy as the crowd at opera, or as conspicuous as the folks that end up at Leopard Lounge. In fact it's an interesting mix of ppl that want nothing to do with either of those crowds. For them, you get Sutra. It's a tad bit of an ackward space. You have to travel down a bunch of stairs to get to the actual club. The bar is long, and the bartenders are pretty quick and attentive. Drinks are a tad bit pricey. It's not out fo the question to spend $10 on a red bull and vodka. This is high for Atlanta clubs. Nevertheless, I keep on paying it. The DJ is pretty good hear, and always seems to keep a small group of people dancing. I love going here on Thursday nights. It used to be $10, but as of the last 6 months, it's been absolutely free to get in. The $10 never deterred me though, b/c it was actually a barrier that kept the wackness out. I like that the place is never so packed that you cant breathe and move around. It's a good mixture of ppl and music, and definitely a spot that I frequent on Thursday evenings.
