For some reason, I always end up here at the end of a night of going out in SF, but I always absolutely hate it. I did a great job in avoiding it for two years, but on Saturday night, we were dragged out by a member of our large bachelorette party and I couldn't be THAT person to refuse to go. I get there and immediately hate it - the staff is not nice at all, the drinks are okay, the crowd is just ew ew ew (stuck up, pretentious, wanna be rich people who just go there because it's free), and the music downstairs was just not spectacular at all. Everytime my friends and I go, we always have to request songs that everyone else loves. Plus, the dance floor downstairs is always stuffy, hot, and way too small. Ugh, I officially hate this place even more. Note: The ONLY reason why I gave it 1 star (besides the fact that Rateclub doesn't let you give 0 stars) is because my friend celebrated her bday here a few years ago and the DJ they used to have was very accommodating and even ended the night with our favorite song, Wonderwall (even though it's a slow song). Great request, btw, because it was totally unexpected and got the crowd going.

Arrived around 10:45 pm on a Friday night, waited in line for a bit, but didn't have to pay cover. Coat check is $5. The decor is grand, but the music was not very good for the most part. I was NOT a fan of the bad hip hop/rap music (and I like most mainstream hip hop too). Also not a fan of the random creepy Asian pedophile who asked me if I was in high school because I look like some girl he knows from high school. This club was better back when it was eleven50.
