by Darren H. on Ok, when we showed up there was a line out the door, now naturally I would have left after seeing this but my companion wanted to try this place for awhile. No worries I sucked it up and gave it a whril. Now I'm really glad that I did. This place is ultra hip and very trendy but i'm not saying that as a negative just an observation. The flip side of that is that the tables are setup family style where the tables are very close to each other & that makes it almost impossible to not talk to your neighbor, so if you're looking for a quite romantic just the two of you type meal this shouldn't be your first stop. Now to avoid the long wait we decided to eat at the bar, the wait staff was very friendly and they had items on the menu like: confit duck nuggets, parmeasan zucchini fries. We decided to go boring and get the cheeseburgers with fries & a couple of drinks. Our food was very good even if it was on the smallish side and the drinks were outstanding. I'm looking at a townhouse not too far from this place, even if I don't buy it i'll be back.
by Chan Zampedri on You know it is bad when a promoter is forced by his friends to stop. I went they a couple of weeks ago when a promoter friend of ours told us of this place. The problem is the people they let in. I went with a group of women, and all the women said all the guys that were in there were NASTY. From a guys view, 98% of the women in there, were NASTY. So, when his friends refused to go back he was forced to move on. Definitely won't find any real celebs here
by Yaeko Cinotti on There was a time when people went to local record stores for music. Every now and again I bypass the mega stores and go to Earwax Records. Earwax generally carries my favorite genres; Hip-Hop, R&B and Rap music. At Earwax you can find mainstream artists records as well as underground. When I go to Earwax I feel like I'm back in Brooklyn buying my tunes. Like a true record store they sell vinyl, DVDs, CDs and accessories as well as Xbox and Play Station games. I mostly I go for the music and movies on clearance and sale; all things I was supposed to buy last year or six years ago but just never got around to. The specials on new releases are pretty reasonable and I have much appreciation for how knowledgeable Earwax is about music overall and events in Atlanta.
