I liked the ambiance of this joint and the staff was friendly. However, I find the food overpriced and not as exciting as I hoped. The room is groovy feeling with white curved in ceiling decorations and sperm looking lights at your table. It's pretty dark too. A few of us ordered the chef's tasting and all I remember were the complaints about the palette cleanser tasting like lemon dish detergent and the portion sizes were too small. I didn't taste the lemon soap but I agree that the portion size is skimpy at best. I was still starving after my meal. The best thing here, and only ting worth going back for, is the black cod miso...again small. I wouldn't come back just because while I enjoy smaller portions with better quality, the quality did not make up for the bites of food I got here.

We stroll up on a Friday night at around 4am. I was forewarned by my female friends that the gay to straight ratio may be a little against my favor, but who cares? I'm comfortable with my sexuality and I love gay people. As soon as we step up to the entrance, I hear someone yell out, "FAG FRIDAYS!" hahaha. I think to myself, "this will be interesting." 20 dollar cover, we walk in and there's a good amount of people inside. It proceeds to get a little more packed as the night continues. A few shirt-less dudes with chiseled chest and abs dancing around. Quite a few older fobby Asian people who were obviously high on something. As a matter of fact, I think I saw my future. I saw this older Asian man in his 40s-50s busting a groove. He had some $$ moves. Totally me in 20 years. Hahaha. The venue itself was pretty awesome. Right when you enter you meet a circular bar. To the right is the dance floor; left is the bathrooms with signs that plainly state "One person at a time in the stalls please." I'm sure they have trouble enforcing this rule. If you continue walking to the back, there's a smaller room with a bunch of tables, chairs and booths. This room was lit with a black light. You pass a pool table as you venture out into the outdoor patio. The patio was probably the best part of the entire venue, something I'm not even going to try and describe. I just wouldn't do it any justice. The music was on point. As soon as we stepped onto the dance floor. They played great remixes and songs that made you couldn't help but DANCE. I enjoyed my time here. No matter if you're straight, gay or an OLDER fobby Asian, this is a great dance venue for all of us to just get together and have a good time.
