by Young Y. on Actually quite a fun place. The music is a bit on the loud side (my ears are still ringing from last night), but they kept it alive in there. They also have girls swinging or playing with fire throughout the night. That was cool to watch but people sometimes stop dancing just to watch. I went on a Saturday night at 1am and left around 3am and it was still pretty packed. Easy to get in, $10 cover. A good girl/guy ratio and easy to meet/dance with others if that's what you're there for. Good place to hang out with friends too. I always check the bathroom in the clubs for some reason....and this one wasn't very good. Kind of messy - when you flush, the water comes out of the toilet (that's pretty sad). They also have a guy handing you towels to wash your hand, but it's kind of out of place because the paper towels are normal and the bathrooms are below average. You kind of leave thinking you have to give the guy a tip, and you should if he services you. So back to the club - good, I'd come here again. Well-worth the $10 cover. Drinks are..normal NYC club prices (expensive)
by Quiana Blowers on For shame, man. First of all, I venture out to meatpacking maybe once a year. I hate this whole scene, so if you are into it, then disregard this review. I came here in support of a friend who is trying to get into promoting. I figured, if anything, she'll bring in enough decent people to make for a fun night even if the rest of the crowd sucks. WRONG. They showed ANIME on the screen, and there were paper lanterns everywhere with Kanji everywhere. Kill me now, when will this Asian exploitation stop? What's the appeal? Plus, it's one of those clubs that was designed for bottle service with 70% of the area taken up by seating for bottle service. Now that people are broke, having seating in the middle of the floor is just insensible, annoying, not conducive to dancing and kind of dangerous. These two drunk girls, kept trying to get on the benches to dance. They fell 2x, because hello, it's not a bar, the benches are not sturdy, they flip over. Perseverance, man. The third time, they even took off their heels. Still, they fall. LOL. Yes, I am someone who laughs at other people's missteps. The crowd was abysmal. There was an ashy 60 year old man, looking straight like Flava flav, who kept trying to hit on us. You're not even real. Oh, in our first 30 minutes there, I saw a woman giving dude a handjob in the middle of the dance floor. NOT in a corner, in the middle of the dancefloor, people. It was like 12am. If you're already doing that, then you already know what it's hitting for, so get a room. The DJ was inconsistent. He's not good at mixing. Everything sounded slower than normal. Pet peeve: playing the same song twice. No song is that good. There's really no excuse for single ladies to play 2x in an hour. Honestly, if he didn't put a ring on it, he probably DOESN'T like it. Get over it.
by Consuela Oren on OK so I went here the other day with one of my Best Friends...The food was really good BUT the drinks were SLAMMIN...Most places jip you on the amount of liquor they put into it but not this place...even if you don't like Mexican food just go for the drinks..they had well over enough flavors of Margaritas & plenty of other selections.. Drink Up We got a free dessert too :)
