Great place for dancing as the music is fantastic for a diverse crowd. The bouncers are very friendly and took the time to warn us about how crowded it was, a friend even said they refunded the cover once when it was super full. We were just surprised when the lights came on at 3:45, but nice guy Neil said he had to go home and feed his cat, so it was fine :) definitely go here!

Dropped four bills at this place but it was sooo worth it! Especially the kobe beef carpaccio and kumimoto oysters... MMMMM!!!! I changed my train schedule to go to NYC JUST so that I could eat here during my first visit to Philly. My friends and I arrived there a little before 5pm and we were seated shortly after. Funky design that was unique and eye catching. I like places like that and are outside of the normal decoration style. Vibrant colors were cool but that light bulb stuck in the middle of the table was bad placement. Service was great and everyone was attentive. Ordered so much food and most of it (not the Uni that tasted like feet though according to my friend) was good. Here's what we ordered (not in order) - yellowtail tartare - kobe beef carpaccio - AWESOME! - kumimoto oysters - VERY FRESH AND LOVED THE SAUCES WITH IT - toro sushi - salmon sushi - uni - DON'T ORDER! TASTED LIKE FEET AND ALMOST MADE MY FRIEND GAG! AND SHE USUALLY LOVES UNI - yellowtail sushi - rock shrimp tempura - BIG PORTION AND WELL SEASONED; NOT TOO MUCH BATTER - morimoto sashimi - pork belly - chilean sea bass - BLACK BEAN SAUCE WAS TOO SALTY BUT THE FISH MEAT BALANCED IT OUT - sweet potato fries - spicy salmon hand roll - soft shell crab cut roll - WAS SO-SO The rest of their sushi was fresh and tasted good though. Don't remember if I left anything out.

My review is for both Opera & Crimson- I've missed a lot of events at this hotspot, but now do Friday nights here, so I'm here every week! I like it here, it's got a laid-back club feel. We open up both clubs and take away the dividers, which makes the place 2x better, in my opinion. The dance floor is decent-sized, and theres one in opera and one on the crimson side. Lots of tables all around, and I like the outdoor smoking area on the side. I'm not a smoker, but it's nice to be able to get some air and breathe where it's not so crowded. Drinks aren't as expensive here as other clubs around Hollywood too, which is always nice for the wallet. I love the dark interior and decor here too. Hit up Terbo the bartender in the back smoking area, he's hilarious and makes great drinks. People always have great times here! Most of the angry reviews for this spot are because the people had problems at the door getting in, but that's what happens when you come to a hot club in hollywood! Helpful tip- show up early, get on the guestlist, and if your ratio of guys to girls is crap, then expect to wait a long time or get bottle service. Typical rules of hollywood, I believe.
