Il Bacio - About Us
Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge is Delray’s hottest new venue for quality dining, nightlife and entertainment. Founded in May 2009 by acclaimed Rhode Island Restaurateurs Steven Pellegrino Sr. and Steven Pellegrino Jr., this 12,000 square foot indoor/outdoor dining establishment is a multi-million dollar project specifically designed to deliver quality dining, dancing, high-energy live DJ’s and entertainment into one single restaurant/nightlife destination. This innovative new dinner-nightclub “Clubstaurant” dining concept occupies the former location of the original City Limits in Delray Beach. Guests may choose to dine in a mix of seating styles – from formal restaurant tables, banquet seating or sectioned off VIP rooms indoors to ultra hip Miami-style VIP cabanas or patio dining at Il Bacio’s expansive outdoor courtyard.

I admit, I am a karaoke whore, at least I was bigtime in the early 90s but this is not a karaoke bar for whores or tramps, total class and you better have you're A game on too, nothing like standard karaoke bars where the crowd is so severely wasted they put up with your crap rendition of Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On, in fact, I think you'd get booted out the door if you dare try. Endless selection of martinis, and the piano karaoke, class it up, get your Gershwin or Ella Fitzgerald on. Love it.

I spent most of the night in the Triumph Room and the music was pretty good. However, this place is PRICEY! On my way in, the guy at the line asked if I were on any guest list and I said, "no." Then he told me (and my 2 girlfriends) that he'd give us discount tickets anyway. Cool. But when I get to where I pay, it was $20 a person! Turns out regular price was $25!! Yikes. That alone wouldn't have been bad, but on top of that drinks were expensive! I had a Jack & Coke and the cup was TINY.... for $10. Come on! And the kicker is... when I entered the Triumph Room, the DJ announced that it was Ladies' Night. Um, really? Then why did I just spend a bunch of money???
