by Jeff K. on Came here on a Saturday night and got trashed. Paid $10 to get in. I guess it's LA, so there must be some sort of cover. But the place itself is not that nice. The lights are dim, music is loud, and the crowd is all Asian. As for the drinks, I don't remember much about how they were. x_x I'm guessing they were expensive since it was a bar in LA. They have a small little outdoor area, a dance area. and a bar area. Other than that, the place is pretty average. Not spectacular. and definitely not worth the $10 cover.
by Luther Tarbet on I'm not sure what the big deal is about this place. I mean it's a fun little spot in SOMA, which doesn't really have too many of such places. Maybe that's why there's usually a line. But we went around 11pm on a Sat and waited maybe 10 minutes in line. There's a $10 cover, which sucks, but whatever...there was a live hip-hop group performing. I didn't really pay attention to them, but they seemed like they were getting the crowd into it. It was easy to get a drink and the dance floor was full, but not too overcrowded. Overall, It's a decent little spot that I might go back to once in a while.
by Galen Ramiez on 222 is a great place to shake and sweat like a teenager at a free dance. The downstairs cavelike back room has a get-away-with-anything vibe to it. Warning: Do not let your boyfriends go here with one of their "close" female friends. Cheating is bound to happen. I am speaking from experience.
