I found this place on rateclubs by clicking cafes that were open 'now' -- 'now' being around 2am...and I discovered this brand new gem of a place. I couldn't believe what I found: cool ambiance (funky lighting grid with cool laser star/galaxy projection) and a big opening to the place with no doors. It was a welcoming oasis -- cozy comfortable couches, good food (I had a tuna melt sandwich, a heated chocolate chip cookie, and iced vanilla tea) , free wi-fi, and exceptionally friendly service. A chill relaxing place off of Sunset Blvd that's open 24-7 that's NOT Toi ? Wow! It only got better when the server told me I could put my feet up on a cushioned foot rest. Was I dreaming? The few homeless people that wandered in at times (off of Sunset) created a LITTLE bit of a 'I feel guilty that I'm eating a warm chocolate chip cookie with my feet up while this man is cold and hungry and just wants a place to sit' buzz-kill, but I got over that pretty quick. Anyway, this place is really quite special...and I will most definitely be back. If anyone's every been to Burning Man, that's what this place felt like...some hookah-themed tent somewhere on the playa. PART 2...I went back again...and had this awesome mozarella tomato pesto panini -type sandwich. REALLY good. The only negative thing is that the server brought me some water later and it tasted really bad...I hope the owner will read this and install a water filter. I will definitely be back!

Great drinks (they better be, right?) and great staff. Kind of smallish space so it pays to get there early if possible. Piano bar in back - that's where our group sat the last time - we were shushed by some old woman who wanted to sing a song with the piano player - come on, we're in a bar, not the opera house!
