by Brian V. on Good for networking between 7-10pm. Management is great and very helpful. We like to eat downstairs and have drinks upstairs. Also a good place to go to during the days. Free parking after 7pm on Wilshire, surrounding municipal lots are good too. It's nice that there are security guards too. Do not be afraid to ask for an escort to your car.
by Kareem Revier on For food alone, it was all right, not as good as Cafe Axum. However, as it doubles as a bar, and is a great place to also have a few drinks/talk, it gets four stars. Great beer selection, including some actual Ethiopian ones. Also, generally at Ethiopian restaurants, when you have multiple people ordering, it's customary to ask if you want them separate, and if not, bring it out all together on one plate; rather than putting eveything on separate plates and implying that we were supposed to specify we wanted it together.
by Julius Fleek on I came here for 80's night and I had a LOT more fun than I was expecting. The music in the front room was great but I didn't like the music in the back room as much. The drink prices varied. In the back room, we paid $14 for two drinks. In the front room, we paid $23 for four. Go figure. Even the "Hot Slut Girl" was great to watch - it was like a train wreck that you can't help not to look at. Great time and I'd definitely come back!
