So silly. -_- I totally wrote this forever ago but realized i posted it on the wrong location and MUST distinguish between the two "I came here TWICE in one week right before I headed back to Dallas for the holidays and loved both times I went. I can't believe I've never eaten here in the three years that I've been attending UT. Most restaurants in Austin, the ambiance and decor is very eclectic and Trudy's is no exception. Although it gives off a very granola-esque vibe, the facility is still very clean and service is great. Both servers I had were extremely helpful and friendly and always had something corky to say. I got the stuffed Avocado by recommendation of my first server (apparently it's the favorite) with spicy black beans and rice. It was absolutely amazing. It's a lightly fried avocado stuffed with chicken and cheese, covered with a sauce of your choice. It's hard to find decent mexican-styled restaurants that I truly enjoy, but this is definitely one I will continue to return to."

Inspired by my finesse and skill on Wii Bowling. And because poppin' bottles in the club was soooo last year... and the year before that... and the year before that... I decided to celebrate my date of birth at Lucky Strike. Fact: Video games must not be confused with real life. I bowled a 52 whereas on Wii I've bowled a 260. Yeah. Fact: I can actually play pool. While impressed by my overall skill with the stick, I was not surprised. *snicker* Fact: They don't allow kids after 6pm. Fact: That makes me happy. Fact: They have a bar/lounge area that is very shi-shi and maybe a little foo-foo. Fact: The food was ok. Basic bar food fancifully dressed. Fact: As is with all of my birthday celebrations, most of us were drunk, some were sick the next day. Fact: We all had a good time.

This is one of those clubs that's has tons of potential. It's not a bad place but it could use a little work. I once saw my friend gash her knee in the dj booth. She kept on dj'ing, blood running down her leg and all. That's a trooper, you go girl! If you go there wear black and you'll fit in. 80's music rules!!!
