by browning h. on So while wandering where all my 3 star reviews were I thought, oh yeah Trudy's. Mediocre, normal 3 star stuff. 1- not real mexican food, the rice and beans here have always been strange to me. 2- clean, decent stuff, umm, I still go here. 3- the art here is annoying as hell. paintings of transformers? Drawing's of R. Kelly, that's creepy, here I am trying to eat and R. Kellys looking around the restaurant for kid's....gross. 4- once again, not really that bad, I still go here, but I guess it's for lack of somewhere better and not too crowded for sunday brunch. 5- It's good for those people afraid to try new things.
by E L. on I drive bye this place all the time which is located on the West Side Highway and it looks very nice from the outside. So I arranged a Monday night group event. We all went and the place had a decent crowd even with horrible weather outside (raining). Very nice decor, didn't know they have billiards tables as well. Kind of pricey but well worth it....I'm headed back soon.
by Antone Snellings on How many times did I ever really enjoy being at 181? Not many. Most of the times that I've been there, I spent my time talking to friends. I enjoy Hip Hop, but I cant groove out to it. If you you like Hip Hop and the scene, then you might enjoy 181.
