My menu for dinner: 1.agadashi tofu- great, but how bad can you go wrong with this? 2.spicy girl roll- eh like a roll of rice and thin layer of fish and spicy sauce http://3.chi roll- a lil better than the spicy girl, but still nothing so special http://4.escolar, scallop, peppered tuna nigiri- all together not so bad 5.ankimo -so good, buttery and delish So that's where you get an average of 3 stars.
by Claire O. on I've heard a ton of good things about G Lounge, so when I heard the events company whose parties I generally attend was having a shindig there, I decided to go. Coincidentally, it was also my friend's going-away party. Entrance: The line had apparently been super long right before I arrived, so I only had to wait a couple mins. Bouncer didn't give me any grief, so plus points. I was also on two of the lists. Interior: Three bars, huge VIP area, good seating (if you're into that type of thing). Obviously, my favorite part was the screen with the dancer behind it. Crowd: So as a disclaimer, I'm one of those Asian girls that frequents Asian parties. I was really happy with the diverse crowd at G, despite it having been host to an Asian party that night. There was a pretty good mix of people - students, yuppies, creepy older dudes. And, of course, a pretty strong number of gelled-up guidos with their horrifically unbuttoned shirts and sunglasses trying to paw at me. They weren't difficult to keep in line, but I don't really think you can go anywhere without seeing a bunch of these. Drinks: Bartenders are sizzling hot. One dude looked like Vin Diesel. There is also a gorgeous, definitely half-Asian woman who is amazingly beautiful. I was totally in awe. Prices are a little higher than most Philly bars. They also don't have Grey Goose. I'd definitely go back again.
by Ardella Quiros on Although the wait outside this establishment is ridiculous by the time you get in it;s the bomb..Nice looking peeps and a great dance floor and pation to make you wanna dance all night. Try it out!!!
