by Amy H. on I've been here a couple times...once when it first opened, another time for a friend's birthday and recently for a lunch meeting...and I have always been pleasantly surprised each time how good the food is. I still vividly remember coming here when it first opened. The place was jam packed inside and out, yet the wait staff was completely accommodating and didn't rush us. It was just me & my cousin having a girls' dinner, and we were full after the appetizers and huge drinks that came in a actual pineapples. They let us leave our table to hang outside for a cigarette break in the middle of our meal several times. It was such a fun atmosphere with the bar, the people and the decor inside. It was like I was at some sort of party, I could go mingle and still come back to my table. So bizarre, I loved it! There aren't many places like that. And now they have $5 premium margaritas. I couldn't pass that up during our lunch meeting! Love this place!
by Jerrell Marioni on Is '80's' just about the most tired 'theme' ever? Yes! Yes it is. Cat club is STILL rocking 1984 every Thursday night down here. I haven't been in about a year but I don't remember having much fun here the last few times I went. Back in the day this place was always a BLAST. Dancing under the lights with all sorts of people rubbin, touchin and feelin. God damn your man girl. Move that body. Whew, I'm out of breath thinking about the glory days. Just insane. Now, it seems that this joint has fallen off, that, or I can't shake my hips like I used to..... nah, couldn't be that. P.S. I have only been to Cat Club for the 1984 night. Other than that?
