I hear horrible things about this place all the time and I should have never went. I don't understand why there is always a line Friday and Saturday nights. It sucks!
by Jamel Zabek on SOB's has always been welcoming to all genres of music. Monday the 26th was no different. I went there specifically to see NYOIL and I am glad I did. He performed with his children Whoa! that man is serious. I got a treat with two different bands, Uninvited Guest and Red Dawn something, sorry they only did one song. Then special guest Immortal Technique came out and did a joint with Akir. He gave props to the real Hip Hop and Rock in the house. It was good to see Hip Hop and Rock out together again, I thought that "live" combination was getting lost. By live I mean each set had a band and instruments for all the beat machine people.
