by Wei T. on I would say that the food is 3.5 stars but the ambiance really pushes it to a 4. I love the rooftop bar and the service is always really good. While the rooftop is best in the summer, it's also a good spot in the winter because they keep the rooftop well heated. The first time I came I ordered the calamari salad and it was amazing. Last night, I got the seared tuna over risotto rice - it was good but it was a very small portion. The risotto rice was phenomenal!! I don't normally eat large portions but I'd say that if you order the tuna, you should also order a side/appetizer.

I came here for a gf's birthday party and since we had a big party which included a lot of boys. Our waitress was jasmine and she was divine! She recommended drink specials that were delicious (though a bit sweet for my taste) and STRONG. after 1 lychee concoction and 2 purple hooters (at the bday girls request) and I was gone. The food was there merely to keep me from upchucking and to pass the time while the performers were serving us. I did enjoy the mini ice cream cones and banana beignets. Those bananas were delicious... The performance was mind blowing. I honestly was a bit sad for myself being next to these gorgeous creatures. Even the bf was a mixture of impressed and confused. HE had to ask me several times which one use to be men... (ALL OF THEM HONEY). So with another guiness to numb the pangs of jealousy we went to the dance floors. I enjoyed the Madonna, Rihanna and Katy Perry performance. I was even THAT girl that asked to take a picture with Madonna.
by Elmer Enfield on I ate here this morning. I ate at Cafe Lift also about a year ago too. This place is great- the food is excellent, the make these Italian crepes that taste soooooo good. I like that there are alot of options on the menu. It's alot of choices, and alot of good choices. I also prefer the ambience of Cafe Lift, and the art on the walls was really amazing, I wish I could have known who the artist was. yum.
