by Alvin P. on first time I came here for my homie's bday on a saturday, and i had hella fun. The whole ratio rule they have is unique. Basically, you gotta have a girl with you. I guess that prevents it from becoming a hot dog cart. biggy ups to that, so hot tip, make sure you bring a girl, unless you wanna hook up the guys working the line. Went here last night on a thursday, ratio rule in full effect. No cover, and the shittt was crackin. Even saw some old friends! got twisted and danced the night away. One of the pole dancers even made eye contact with me. She definitely had a crush on me! haha, wishful thinking. Coming back again. Definitely Fly Like a G6 status
by Denita Ring on While I would argue that we had a "3 star" experience, I don't want ot knock this bar just because it was jam-packed and we couldn't get a seat. If we had been able to get a table and enjoy our drinks in a more relaxed position, I would have probably loved the experience. After all, it was a holiday weekend, so what did I expect? This bar sits in the lobby of the St. Regis. We heard some people talking about how they had shot a scene for "Devil Wears Prada" in the bar. It took us a while, but we were finally able to remember the scene (I won't spoil it for you......go have a drink and figure it out yourself). In terms of a bar, it doesn't get much cooler than the King Cole Bar. Very old school, very dark, very classy.....I just wish there had been a place to sit and enjoy the scene.
