Went to Mighty last night. Music was good; venue is cool, bar is sub par, crowd was average. Below are some points I think others should consider before choosing Mighty for their night out. Cool industrial space. Mixed drinks are weak and served in little plastic cups No beers on tap and very limited selection on bottled beers Bartenders and staff are just there doing there job. They are not friendly, lively, or hip; but they are not unfriendly either...just there (blah) The venue is Cash Only Mighty is located in an industrial area so no opportunity for bar/club hopping or grabbing a bite to eat nearby. Dress code: wear whatever (shorts, t-shirt, dress, slacks, whatever) Don't go here for: 1) great drinks 2) to pickup 3) to be fashionable 4) to people watch 5) to lounge Go here if: 1) there is a DJ you want to hear play and also have room to dance 2) you want to pay premium price for weak cocktails served in small plastic cups by boring bartenders 3) you want to carry a wad of cash or pay 2.00 to withdrawal money from the ATM (located in the venue) every time you want a drink. I would only go back if there was a great DJ playing and I wanted to dance. Last word of advice: if you decide to go, make sure you go on their site and buy tickets pre-sale it's much cheaper than paying at the door ($20).

I went here for a friend's birthday party. We arrived early and walked to the door...there was NO one on line yet the bouncer INSISTED that we walk around to wait on the "line"... OK?? Reminded me of the movie Meet The Parents when Ben Stiller was waiting to board the plane... lol Anyway, We get inside and go downstairs, music was good if you like throwback & new hiphop music... We were downstairs for over an hour (and it felt like a 6th grade dance..(boys on one side, girls on the other) We didn't even realize the birthday boy had a table UPSTAIRS until we were about to leave because we didn't get service.. When we finally went upstairs it was much more crowded! The decor was alot nicer, theres a dance floor and another set of stairs that lead to another floor which overlooks the dancefloor and a private VIP section. We tried to go over to where the birthday boy had his table but the bouncer refused to let us in -he was SOOOO RUDE and practically shoved my friend down the stairs. We left. The line was sooo ridiculous long! Why?? I have NO idea.. but I'd find another spot to go to...
