First off, despite outward appearances, this is not a strip club (something I had to prove to my coworker by going in first when we went before our show at the Hotel Cafe). Embrace your tourist status and order a specialty drink (mine was served in a full size, cored pineapple, and my coworker had hers delivered in a coconut). You will stand out as you try to manipulate the unwieldy drink vessels, but the drinks are tasty and if you're from out of town, who cares what you look like? The food was pretty good from what I remember, although I've had better ceviche than the "suck-directly-on-a-lime", less-than-subtle flavors of the dish here. Overall, a good time in a cool space and good way to pass the time until the music starts across the street.

Best sushi anywhere. I have eaten sushi all over Japan and the US. Hayakawa is a sushi bar that meets the highest standards. Every plate is a work of taste and art. Speaking of Art, Art Hayakawa is the proprietor and any discriminating patron should sit at the sushi bar and let Art create a meal beyond compare.
