by Cemile A. on Very cool night..Turkish pop music night by Aykut events was tonight and it was packed. Aykut played really good mixed music, Turkish, international and what's current. Very nice looking crowd- mostly Turkish and the venue was good enough. Bartender/bar service was good and efficient. Drinks were not too expensive and it was also friendly. Aykut packed the house and the dance floor was full. Good amount of space, hanging out areas and sitting areas. This place is on the small side but it was fine for this specific event. We had a great time and danced to some great Turkish pop tunes. I guess 4 stars for Aykut's specific party at this venue and if i had to give stars to Coda sans Aykut.. then i have to say 3 starts. Yes, it great but thats all. No fireworks. (We have not had their food yet and we were only there for tonight's party).
by Aracely Markey on Okay, I've had a good time here! BUT I only like it on Fridays. Don't waste your time coming here on Saturday. I'll explain... The club is nicely decorated, a lot of red and black, but its pretty small. The bartenders are not totally useless like at a lot of other places, and the location is convenient (right next to Opera, Cosmo, etc..), but parking will most likely cost you $10. Last time I went on a Friday was on my friend's boyfriends birthday. My ex does a lot of party promoting so he got my friends and I on the list so we didn't have to pay to get in. The club is usually packed on Fridays & the crowd is a really good mix of black, white, etc... and mostly people in their 20's. They play a nice mix of hip-hop and throw in some rock, pop, etc.. nothing amazing, but it works for me. I would give it 4 stars for Friday. Too bad there's a Saturday... Saturdays are a different story... old white people, wannabe businessmen with old plastic women. Quite gross actually... a lot of guys in really tight shirts too (like others mentioned). I went on my birthday.... my ex warned me, why didn't I listen!?!? Let's just say we had to leave, couldn't stand it AT ALL.
