If you love 80's pop, the front room DJ is your best friend - and you're guaranteed to bounce uncontrollably to Madonna's greatest hits, Denise Williams, MJ, Eurythmics, Duran Duran, and on and on. If you're more into 80's rock (dark era), the backroom with dimmed lights and slower tunes will not disappoint. Crowd is fun, energetic, vibrant, and DIVERSE (which I L-O-V-E). BUT, be patient, because you WILL get bumped and danced on if you're not careful. PS - Free before 10pm, otherwise $6 to get in. A MUCH BETTER alternative to Paradise Club.
by Bettyann Upadhyaya on Went to their upper deck for the 4th and got close enough to the fireworks to catch a glowing cinder in my eye. What more can one ask for? Well, perhaps some ointment. It was an open bar/buffet fundraiser but on my previous visit guised as civilian our party waited well over an hour for our vittles, which finally arrived in meager, overpriced portions but by then we were buzzed on buckets of Corona and speaking of coronas it was the best sunset ever as the yellow-green haze of human emissions haloing Jersey was slathered and slow danced by the blood-orange fire of the middle-aged star that sustains our planet.
by Ed L. on I guess guys buy drinks all the time anyways but it's great to be a female in New York. Chicks can find open bars everyday and as a result, the milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. The one at Circle seemed to work out well. Lots of ladies enjoying free booze while dudes emptied out their wallets with the little change they had left after paying their monthly Manhattan rent. Definitely Korean fest but for weeknight, it was very poppin. Nice little club with bumping some good jams. In NY, there's no difference between weekdays and weekend. People still go big and make it to work. They also age twice as fast and got some serious baggages under their eyes.
