by Iva Purugganan on I enjoy these restaurant for many reasons.. first it's the sorta place unless you knew it was there you'd walk right past it, but once you pass the iron door and red curtain, you've entered Hollywood meets TJ venue.. I adore the decor, it brings me back to my childhood memories of going to TJ with my family.. and the food is actually great and since I've eaten here before have been a fan of their twist on Mexican cuisine, but for that night My date and I hung out with my favorite other couple. Eva and Damon to celebrate Brianna's birthday party. Even thou Luis and I didn't make it to the table for dinner we stayed at the bar for me to enjoy One to many Cadillac Margaritas with Hornitos.. yes i was tipsy and full of joy.. so much my date had to escort me out the door and tease me all the way home.. Hey that's the perk of having someone else drive you. Besides that, they have a lovely patio with a DJ and bar in the patio as well. I strongly recommend reservation for dinner on a weekend and even more strongly recommend to STAY AWAY FROM THE CADILLAC MARGARITAS!! HAHAH!

by j w. on a disgrace from the crap architecture to the rude staff to the long lines to the overcrowding to the mall-food-court vibe to the corporate sponsorship of every square inch of the building. your mileage may vary... amazingly, the area is saved only by the park and the children's museum.
