No reservation but got right in with 6 people. Amazing dinner for all of us (and a vegetarian choice for me!!!) without breaking the bank. Excellent southern goodness on every part of the menu. highly recommend!

I've lived in Los Angeles for 6 years, & The Spazmatics @ Dragonfly on SUNDAY NIGHTS is by far one of the best times you can have in LA. While this bar is a bit more East on Santa Monica Blvd. than you'd like to go on your average night, it is certainly worth the trip on Sundays. Spazmatics play on Sundays & are an AMAZING 80's cover band like you've never seen before. The band doesn't talk too much during their set, which in my opinion, Metal Skool (Mondays on Sunset) absolutely does. ...And every song is amazing, diverse, fun, and on-key. Killer band on a technical level. The cover charge is a reasonable $10, because you're getting a great show. *Please let it be known that I generally can't bear to pay a cover anymore. The doormen are reasonable, and you won't have to wait at all if you have a 1:1 girl/guy ratio. The inside is a great size for a small, but intimate rock show, and there is a huge side bar area for a place to talk with comfortable couches and huge bar also. Amazing back patio for smoking ...anything ;)... Only con: The band goes on LATE (around, or just before Midnight!) Pro to that: You get the people who want to have a great time and are in it to win it. On holiday weekends with Mondays off, get there EARLY! ...Because it's going to get crazy! Hot women. Always.

I recently held a 22 person dinner party at Prana. I coordinated everything over the phone with Alison, a charming employee who helped make the event wonderful. I was quoted $28 per person which I think was very reasonable considering the high quality food. I was allowed to select 4 appetizers and 4 entrees from the menu for my party. They gave everyone a tuna tar tare sample, wonton chips with 3 dipping sauces, and then the appetizer and entree that people chose. Alison introduced herself halfway through the dinner which was really cool. The cocktails were delicious. I had one pomegranate based drink and one ginger based drink. Definitely recommend those (I can't remember the names). Naturally with 22 people it's hard to assume that all 22 will show up. Alison made sure I knew that it would be fine if a few people couldn't make it. There was no pressure or threats of extra charges (clearly if 10 showed up they wouldn't be happy, but a couple missing was not a problem). I highly recommend Prana for a large dinner party. I had a great time.
