by Natasha C. on I enjoyed this aquarium immensely. I went as a family outing with my nieces and nephews. I was probably more thrilled with the reaction from the kids rather than the actual aquarium itself; nonetheless it is should be on your to do list if you are a tourist. The aquarium is huge. I don't think that we got the opportunity to see the entire aquarium but I was satisfied with what we did see. I especially loved the sea otters. There was one particular otter that was a total and complete show off. I loved every minute of his/her flipping, turning, splashing and preening ( do sea otters preen?). Anywho...the crabs freaked me out...I will never be able to enjoy king sized crab legs again thanks to that particular display. Other than the ridiculous prices found in the gift shop ( not surprising), an afternoon at the Georgia Aquarium is time well spent.
