by Hollis Zents on I've been to Bar Chi about 5 times now and I am officially their biggest fan! The sushi has been fresh and absolutely delectable each time I have eaten there. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great with a trendy decor and some pretty good beats playing all night long. The staff is very attentive and Leo, the sous chef, will cater to your every need. On two occasions, I have been with a party of 12+ and we have been given VIP treatment each time. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the ocean trout sashimi and on each visit I have discovered something else I love. Other favorites are the Uni w/ a raw quail egg on top, New surf and turf roll, and the crazy roll. They have a great an reasonably priced sake selection as well. Happy hour prices are awesome, but their regular prices aren't too bad either. On two occasions, I have ordered all I could eat + drinks and got out for a very reasonable price. The only thing this restaurant is missing is the crowd! On every occasion I have been in, I have been sat immediately which is great for me, but bad for Bar Chi. I definitely recommend this place for some fantastic sushi at a reasonable price.
by Jung Bortner on After a disappointing night of trying to a place to have a beer and just hang out my friends and I decided to come here. It was Saturday night on the 4th and the first place we went was closed so then we tried a 2nd place and it was very slow. So after stricking out twice we thought that this place has to be jumping. Boy, were we right. There's no cover charge to get in which is a plus since most strips clubs charge $20 but there is a 2 drink minimum. Before you go in make sure you leave your cell phone, digital camera, or any recording device in the car since it's frowned upon. Other than that you'll have a good time. The drink price range can vary from cheap to regular depending on the day and time you come. The waitresses here are very friendly yet pushy since they want you to buy the minimum 2 drinks. As for the strippers, they're not first class but they're average and once in a while you can find one that's your type since they are all different shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. After a bad start to our night I'm glad that we had a much better time here. Where else can you find place where you can have a couple of beers and see women show off their boobs all for a cheap price. It's a whole lot better than going to those overrated Gentlemen's Clubs that are such rip offs.
