After reading rateclubs reviews, I didn't have high expectations for this place, and as a result I wasn't disappointed. The carnival games are overpriced (e.g. $4 to throw two baseballs at stacked metal milk cartons). The drinks have typical Manhattan lounge prices ($7 for an Amstel). The $85 two gallon big bowl for six actually tastes pretty good and is filled with liquor. I went with a large group, and I think this is what made it more than merely tolerable. One of my friends actually went into the dunk tank and was talking trash to the throwers via microphone they set up. That was fun. I also appreciated that it wasn't overcrowded but crowded enough, there were plenty of places to sit, and the music wasn't overly loud. It's not my preferred scene, but a good change of pace place while playing host for friends in town.
