Having fully embraced my identity as a bruncher recently, I came to the realization that not all brunch places created equal. "Duh", you may say, but hear me out. Sometimes, you want a nice a hearty brunch to cure your hangover. Other times, you want something fancy and light, before you get on with your weekend. Other OTHER times, you just wanna go to a brunch place where you can dance to Beyonce in the bathroom line at 10:30 in the morning - Lime falls into this category. The best thing about this place is definitely the bottomless mimosas. Our waitress was really nice, and VERY diligent with the refills. Our entire table got the orange mimosas, but their pomegranate mimosas looked delicious too. The food is...mediocre, if that. My frittata was probably the greasiest thing I've eaten in months. Did I eat it all like the fatass that I am anyway? Yes. Will I complain about it now? Yes. At least they have pretty decent portions, though. This place is great if to you, brunch means mimosas, bloody marys and tequila shots. For me, though, brunch means breakfast plus lunch, and there are better places where I can eat enough delicious food for two meals.

This is my kind of place. I've been here twice each time it felt the like I was a regular. The owners are super nice: the gentleman who served us spoke with lingo reminiscent of more eclectic San Francisco days: a twinge of hippie surfer bro. That didn't make him a crazy...it made him the raddest dude there. The burgers...wow what can I say? They rocked seriously hard. The patties were not overcooked and they were juicy as hell. The setup was basically a build it yourself burger: all the stuff separate for you to handle. I chose to make a fry burger. The drinks? Well...it has a full service bar so the prices are full service bar-y. What'd you expect? I dig this place. I'm comin' back as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
