by Brook Pitel on Lime brunch is awesome. Bottomless mimosas for $7! And they're not stingy with the pouring, either -- our waiter was always around for refills. Food is solid. I had the frittata which was delicious, and came with potatoes and bacon. They also make these ridiculously good biscuits. We were fighting over the last one until they brought us another basket. The music is a bit loud, and they play all the pop hits so people are likely to burst out singing along, particularly because the usual brunch crowd is drinking up to get rid of their hangover (or still drunk!). But it's fun! Waitstaff is very attentive and friendly, even when they're swamped with the Saturday morning crowd. Don't ever go anywhere, Lime -- the Castro crowd needs you to refuel after long nights out!
by Rebecca D. on I might be a bit biased because it's an easy spot to walk to, but seriously 80's night rocks! I think the people are a lot of fun and the DJ is great, they split it into two different rooms, one plays more pop 80's like Whitney Houston and stuff and the other room is more depeche mode type of music, which makes it nice to go back and forth between rooms. I have to agree it is soooooooooooooo hot, toooo hot, I wish they could do something about it because it does suck when you feel sweaty and smelly with your makeup running down your face. The prices are a little steep, so I tend to pre-drink then just enjoy a drink and dance all night.
by Eliana Pleet on A really relaxed atmosphere and scene - it has a more Brooklyn than Manhattan vibe : ). It's a diverse post-work crowd on the weekdays, mixed in with leisure seekers, quite a few tourists, too - but not the anoying ones. Anyone who wants to enjoy a nice evening / sunset on a boat will be satisfied. The food is OK, better than you would assume, and the drinks are regularly priced. There was a live band playing, when I visited - they were tremendously loud. Prepare to shout for the entire evening.
