by Byron Tait on Let's get the bad out of the way: These are not the best cocktails on the planet and the joint can get crowded. Now for the good: If you are into $5 martinis and live piano karaoke, this is the place for you. It's loungy and tacky and wonderful on a Sunday with a group. Otherwise: They take their Karaoke more seriously than other joints, so don't be bringing that squealing drunk friend of yours that always massacres whatever song he/she sings. That will be :(ed upon.
by James F. on Everyone told us to visit the Aquarium while we were here. We visited on a Sunday afternoon. We made the HUGE mistake of parking in the city lot....$10 for two hours...OUCH. The Aquarium was exciting and even though it was crowded and hundreds of kids were there, it was not chaotic. The exhibits are the best I've seen in....aquariums overhead, tunnel to walkt through, and lots of staff members to answer questions. The sea otters could use some slim fast.....but they and the otters were about and playing....something we don't see at Sea World very often. The place is clean, fun and a great family destination. The Aquarium was fantastic, we certainly wish the kids were here to have enjoyed it. Our son would have loved the whale sharks.
