We came into District Grill for brunch on Saturday and, being one of the first customers of the day, were seated promptly. I had a mimosa to start which came with a cherry (a cute touch to an otherwise simple beverage), and had the fish and chips. Though, a simple meal in reality, the atmosphere on the foyer made the meal that much more enjoyable. The service was very attentive and charming, which would justify exploring their dinner menu in the future, and I would recommend brunch to someone looking for a restaurant with a good vibe in the heart of WeHo.

Artistically speaking, this is a great club. They have taken the time to do a beautiful set-up of three different dance floors. They have a nice light display (compared to other San Francisco attempts). Just don't come here to dance. How is it possible that none of the THREE dance floors play good music? The crowd is completely made up of college students. It's a great place if you want to watch girls in dresses and skirts that don't cover them properly and in footwear that could easily double as a weapon, but don't expect them to do anything more than want to be seen. There are a good many people who do the head bob, and the rest of the dancers are there to BE SEEN and have their ego stroked. The drinks are bad and over-priced. The bartenders and bouncers are all older (30ish) than the dancers, and they know the type of place it is. They are bored before the night begins, and don't seem to look forward to the barely-legal idiots walking through the door. The only reason Temple gets two stars, rather than the one I really should give it is because of the great decor and the kind bouncer who started my night out right while checking me off the guest-list. Thank you bouncer!
