by Rachael N. on Definitely more girls than guys here, but a fun place to dance the night away. A small dance floor in the middle of 4 couches/tables, this place gets filled up by midnight. The music is GREAT- kudos for the music. Not one bad song at all! Plus, the random people we met were fun to dance with as well. A great place to go out with your girlfriends...not so loud that you're screaming over yourself, and just a cool environment...with great great music! I loved every song... and still slightly classy (although I was surprised the drinks came out in non-heavy glass cups). Fun fun place to dance dance dance the night away.....
by Larhonda Stebe on Finally got a chance to go to Pod. My bf has been there before, and didn't particularly like it, hence.... I haven't gone, since he's basically my "eating out" partner. Tonight, I insisted we try it. It was ok. We both agreed that we're tired of restaurants that LOOK LIKE Pod. We've been to so many of them, and after a while they all morph into one and the same and become a blur. Most of these restaurants rely too much on the decor and then don't deliver when it comes to good food. Pod was ok in that department. I ordered Spicy Tuna Rolls and Seared Scallop Ramen. Both were good, albeit. a little spicy!! He ordered Szechuan Lamb Chops, and said they were delicious. For dessert, we had the Butterscotch cake with herbal tea..... good as well. Overall, I'd have to say Pod was just so-so. Kind of expensive, in my opinion, for what I had. (Really just Oodles of Noodles with Scallops!) LOL Well, if nothing else, I finally get to cross Pod off of my list of places to try.
