went here last night for restaurant week, great experience! while my food was absolutely delicious (she-crab soup, shrimp & scallops over grits, banana pudding) the best part about it was that they accommodated my two veggie friends who were with me, i had called before to see if they had a substitute option for them and they said something about a veggie plate and a veggie pasta, i thought it was going to be something super bland but both dishes were fantastic (i had to nibble a little of both of course) service was great, our waiter was nice but not too over the top friendly (i know i'm odd, but i hate when a waiter tries to be your best friend) each course came out super quickly and it was an overall terrific atmosphere, though it seems a little pricey normally i would probably bring my mom to come eat here or out of town guests.

I have been to One Midtown twice now and I love it. Last night we sat in the bar and the crowd was fun and lots of good people watching. We split two appetizers, the calamari and the grilled shrimp. Both were excellent! However there were only three shrimp so not a good one for sharing. I like the entree selections. A nice variety of dishes with interesting preparations. I had the Steak Frites which I enjoyed. Personally I would prefer a different side than fries, but they were fine. As noted by others, a terrific wine list. Last night I stayed with Scotch and they have a good selection as well. Our waitress was very good. Even with the bar area packed, she checked on us regularly without rushing us. One Midtown is a good place to bring out of town guests as well as a date or just to meet friends. If you haven't been, give it a try.
