by Helen V. on I feel like I lived at the W the whole time I was there. Hotel, pool, club, bar, everything, Haha. Had a good time. Came the same weekend as Xgames and was with a bunch of stellar great looking guy friends...I'd hate to look at their bar tab though since Ketel One bottle I think were going for $500. Ouch None the less, had a crap load of fun and massive hangover heading back to SF. Good times!
by Yen Nicolozakes on I just moved into the area and found this place! On Friday/Saturday nights, the bar is packed. They have karaoke during the week. And, it's open late for food which is nice after the bars close you can still come here and get something to eat. The 1st floor is a restaurant with surprisingly decent Chinese food and I believe me, I know my Chinese. The 2nd floor is where the bar is at. This place is awesome and it is necessary that you order the Scorpion Bowl. This drink is intended for 2 or more people and will set up a pretty good buzz after one. After two, it will make anyone a happy, happy person :D It's delicious and tastes just like pineapple juice! Definitely what this place is known for. The 3rd floor is their dance floor which sometimes they use for comedy shows too.
by Mabelle Jirak on i already wanted to move to silverlake, this was just icing on the cake. went on a friday, great hip hop and reggae. it's pretty small but there are two rooms so you can bounce back and forth between DJs. this is the place to go when you want to dance.
