Once the hype died down (a couple of my classmates got pictures with Bobby Flay and some waited on the 1hr+ lines opening week), I came here a few times to try out the celebrity chef's new joint.  For $7.50 each, you want your burger to be tasty since there are so many places in Philly to get one.  The most memorable was the Dallas Burger.  The bbq sauce and the coleslaw were nice touches but not overpowering.  The LA burger is nice too (love the watercress, what a fancy little touch).  My bf is a huge blue cheese on burgers fan but he was disappointed with the Bobby Blue Burger with blue cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato.  The burgers are decently flavorful, you pay $7.50 for that extra something that is added to your burger.  This place definitely is a step up from 5 Guys or goodburger.  If you lift your bun, you can see that the burger is heavily seasoned.  I get my patties medium and the burgers come pretty pink all throughout the middle.  The bun is nothing special--typical white bread with sesame seeds. The Beer Battered Onion Rings are HUGE (you can actually taste the onion and the batter is quite tasty; very greasy but worth it for $3 if you like onion rings!) while the fries are fine.  The decor is trippy and it's cafeteria-style (just grab an available seat next to anybody and everybody and there are sauces in the middle of the tables).  If you go before the lunch rush, the wait staff strategically placed throughout the restaurant are extremely attentive (e.g., replacing your nice napkins periodically, taking additional orders for you so you don't have to go back on line)  Even during rush hours, there are always employees who walk around cleaning up and are very friendly.  I wish the cashier could work faster but I think they try to control how many orders go through each minute because the kitchen can only handle so much.  For $5, I think the milkshake is overpriced for the size. I don't know if I'm imagining this but I feel like their food has gotten a bit greasier since it first opened.  I tried the Cheyenne burger last and I couldn't finish it.  Also, there were at least 3 bacon strips on the burger but they were stiff and hard to chew.  My bf thought there was way too much goat cheese on the Napa Valley burger (if such a thing is possible!).  I absolutely love their pickles though!

The place is definitely classy and they get good names, but the few times I've been there I didn't love the experience.  If it's a sit-down show and you get a table behind the floor portion (as I did), the sound isn't great and the stage seems so far away.  I guess it depends what you like; seems a little dressy for a rockin' show.  Might just have been bad luck on my part.
