by Clarissa S. on This is in my neighborhood and I am in pretty frequently. As far as SPORTS BARS go, it's just what you expect and need it to be. I'm not a real big fan of the seating on the *lounge* side and tend to stay away from those chairs because they just pull you in until you feel like you're sitting on the floor. A couple of projection screens. Lots of fried food. Great bartenders - albeit busy as all get out. Music that will run a bit to the loud side. And just enough of a dance floor so that if you want to get out there and shake a leg, there is a spot to do so, but not so much that you think they are trying to be a nightclub.
by Anthony Malo on The Golden Temple is an anomaly among Chinese restaurants in the area. First off is the fact that it is pretty expensive but the food is tremendous. They offer valet parking for those that drive. The cuisine is mostly Chinese with some other Asian fare mixed in (Pad Thai, etc). The General Gau's chicken, which is my absolute favorite, is out of this world. The Mai Tai's are deathly strong so if you are drinking, beware! There is also a DJ on the bar side spinning disco and the like.
