Sound quality & level = 4 stars Seating = 3 stars (that we got to sit down at all was wonderful) Drinks = 2 stars (as someone else posted, the bottled Guiness really is flat) Stupid drunk people at table in front of us = 1 star Overall, I agree with the other rateclubsers who said they'll go if someone they like is playing there, otherwise not worth it. In this case, the opening act far outshined the main act (pretty unusual, really). Don't understand at all why anyone said it has "classic" decor. I thought it looked like a strip joint. Not exactly tacky, but nothing like what I expected from some of the rateclubs reviews raving about how "swank" it is. Also, no need to dress up. Most of the audience wore jeans. I avoided the women's restrooms on the advice of other rateclubsers. Men's was apparently ok. Also, expect to pay $20 for parking around there. Overall, not sure it would be worth going back for anything less than a favorite act.

Went there last (Saturday) night with 2 friends. I've been here before and like the place but last night was a huge succes! We sat at a bartable next to to the bar and the waitress stood us after checking in once. People, if your wait has been 5 minutes, take charge and do something about it and don't sit there and wait, and then complain about over here.  When the waitress gave up on us, I didn't wait and get worked up about it. I just asked the bartender (Josie) if she would want to help us so she took over. And she was fantastic! Great service, friendly and on top of her game. Ordered some appetizers to share and it was very flavorful and delish. There was no cover and the band was fantaaaastic!  A mixed bag of jazz, blues, dance, they even did a Zeppelin! We had to hit the dancefloor a few times. Not overly crowded, easy to make conversations, interesting characters. Will be going back!  Thank you Josie, you rock!

super fun. super small. super crowded. super friendly. cheap $5 cover that i did not pay. how you may ask? enter my pimp friend, monica r who smooth talked our way into the club. in the bouncer's words, "ok you guys have flirted enough to get you in." would that be considered G rated prostitution? maybe but we got in for free so whatever. once inside, we entered the abyss of amazing old school party music. (think 'Now that's what I call Music" first edition)  so delish. lot's of people shoved together and grinding like we're all on MTV's The Grind. i really liked how everyone was dancing with everyone and no one cared how you danced or what you were wearing or whatever. i would recommend libation enjoyment prior to entrance into the club so as not to feel overwhelmed or claustrophobic. fun fun fun!!
