Had a great time here for the Temper Trap and The Limousines concert. Place was packed, it got so hot by the end of the night. Some dick was waving his hair back and forth, flinging his sweat everywhere. At first I was just shocked because I didn't expect it. But after a while I wanted to bury my elbow into the back of his head. Too bad Temper Trap was last. Temper Trap took 45min to get started as well... Didn't appreciate that. 30 min wait after shitty band sleigh bells. Then another 15 min of them just drumming and moaning to the beat. The Limousines were awesome though. We were up in the front the whole night. Sound and lighting was great. Beer was 6? I found parking around the corner at around 8? stayed till 1? probably shouldn't have waited so long to write this review.

I've only really come here for two events - a company sponsored outing or a sporting event. For the former, this place is great - greasy food, billiards, and beer. However, for the latter, I really really want to say this place is great, but the atmosphere just sucks. Jillians has everything going for it to be a good sports bar - HUGE TVs, decent beer, and decent food. However, they have no PEOPLE!! I came here to watch my beloved alma mater UCLA in the Sweet 16, and it felt like I was watching the game at a church. People had gear on, people were cheering, but it was really really subdued. I thought it was a fluke, but few times I went after, same thing. I much rather go to Green or Kezar, although harder to watch, smaller TVs, no seats, its a lot more fun. It has all the makings of a great sports bar, but it just needs fans.
