by karen l. on My first comedy club and I had a blast. I went to the event called "Dirty Jokes for Clean Water". It's great because all the ticket sales goes to charity. Bobby Lee was my absolute favorite! That K-Boy is a Funny Mother-F*cker. he had the whole club laughing once he came on stage. It was really hard for anyone else to follow him. The other comedians were great but gosh.... Bobby just got the crowd going. Carlos Mencia was great as well but there was this one drunk crazy chick that kinda stole his thunder. She was screaming for Carlos and clapping and it wasn't even at the funny points yet. She also fell over a few times. It was quite distracting. If Carlos turned the jokes on her he would've gotten the crowd going crazy. Overall it was a great experience. 1 minor thing, the drinks take a little longer than I would like but (I guess it's pretty packed so no (-) in ratings).
by Emery Zippe on I've had my ass kicked quite a few times by the Monday $1 drink night, making Tuesday somewhat hard. I love this place- amazing outdoor patio area (go during summer), good drinks, good music scene- I've seen bands from Erase Errata here, to my husband's band Arcadio http://www.soundsofarc...play here. Love it and recommend it.
