This place is an improv comedy club and has been since 1995. They don't serve alcohol and they don't have band's perform. They have an improv comedy troupe that performs 5 times on the weekend... the shows are 90 minutes and are amazing! I am not sure what the people above are talking about...

I want to give this place 3 1/2 stars. It's a bit better than OK but not jumping up for joy either. The decor and ambience is cool. I found it to be very touristy though. The good thing was that we were a bunch of girls just wanting to catch up so we got a great table on the little balcony area they have towards the back so it wasn't too loud. The drinks were ok, wasn't too happy with my Strawberry drink I had, I wish I had the Geisha or the Blue Lady my friends had- they seemed to be happy with them. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and OMG the yellowtail sashimi was amazing! It had jalapenos so it gave it a good kick. The black cod, spring rolls and tuna tar tar were good too! i had the salmon- it wasn't over the top great but better than some I've had elsewhere. They were playing good music so definitely want to check out the lounge area next time.

I know this place has not gotten the best of reviews on rateclubs but I did not go on a typical Friday or Saturday night. I purchased advanced tickets for the BMI showcase featuring Drake & hosted by Lloyd (so nice & cute!). I was able to get in early without having to wait in line. There was parking across the street as well as valet at the club.I found out later some people parked as far as the Container Store parking lot because the lots close to the club were full. Entered at nine, got to sit behind the Velvet Rope at a booth directly across from the stage thanks to three sound audio guys I met. Got to meet Lloyd and see some celebrities pose for the cameras and walk to their seats. The majority of people at the party were in the back rooms watching the contestants perform. They had flat screen tvs which showed us the performances but there was no sound. I was glued to my seat until midnight when security forced us to move because they found someone actually willing to pay for the seats and Travis Porter was on stage. Drake did not show until 12:30 but it was worth it.He was on stage for 45 minutes, performed all of his hits including "Over" & a new single with Lloyd. Baby showed to rap his verse on "Money to Blow." The live band was great but the speakers were so loud it felt like the floor was shaking. There were so many people crammed into the space it felt like a sauna. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because the restrooms were on the other side of the club and I was not trying to fight my way though the crowd.Security was respectful and I was happy I did not have to go through a "body search" before going in inside (I just had to open my purse & show ID). It was the most fun I had at a club in awhile.I would go back. It's certainly better than the Velvet Room.

I've seen some shows here. It is hard to see the band if you linger too long in the bar area and end up in the back. Such is usually my curse. I haven't been back in awhile because my hubby has a rule that he only likes to go to NEW to him places. WTF?
